public should absolutely be free
Funny, I’ve seen cities say they want to reduce congestion introduce (or attempt to introduce) taxes for driving your car in the centre of town, but I’ve NEVER seen the suggestion that we just make public transport free.
Just imagine. Imagine how much more effective that would be than a congestion tax.This does not fit my blog, but anyway: if you want to know more about traffic planning and why enabling more cars does not work, I’d fully recommend the “notjustbikes” youtube channel for an entertaining way to learn more about these subjects!
